Stormy Daniels arrested at strip club

The adult film actress who is suing President Trump over an affair she says she had with him was arrested at an OH strip club for allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while onstage, Daniels's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted.

Avenatti, Daniels' awyer, took to Twitter early Thursday, calling the arrest "a setup & politically motivated".

Daniels, 39, real name Stephanie Clifford, was arrested at the Columbus, Ohio, strip club Sirens early Thursday morning for allegedly using her bare breasts to slap around patrons, according to a police report.

A fourth officer, who was not touched, called for assistance to arrest Daniels and two others: Miranda Panda, of Marion, and Brittany Walters, of Pickerington.

Police said Daniels made her way over to another detective and performed the same acts on him. But charges were dismissed because she wasn't a regular performer at that establishment - an odd caveat to the law. Reached by The Post early Thursday, a representative for Sirens strip club declined to comment.

'This was a setup and politically motivated. She was scheduled to be arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court on Friday morning, according to court records.

"They are devoting law enforcement resources to sting operations for this?" Avenatti tweeted. "Are you kidding me?"

"It reeks of desperation", he tweeted.

Daniels, best known for revealing her alleged 2006 affair with then-Apprentice host Donald Trump and the subsequent hush money payout she received shortly before his 2016 election win, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of touching a patron at a "sexually oriented business". Trump has forcefully denied the affair.

Charges against Stormy Daniels, who was arrested on Wednesday at a strip club in OH for letting patrons touch her while on stage in what her lawyer has claimed was a "set-up", have been dropped. He conceded that Stormy did allow herself to be touched, but it was in a "non-sexual manner". "We will vehemently contest all charges". "I am all for following the rules and going by the book, no touching, no this, no that, but also at the same time, in my opinion, I feel like it was completely harmless", Curry said.
