Giuliani's television appearances come on the heels of an admission earlier this week to ABC's George Stephanopoulos by Cohen - who once boasted he would "take a bullet" for Trump - that he is putting "family and country first" and protecting the president is not his priority.

President Trump's legal team has told FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller that they want him to produce evidence that Trump has committed a crime before they agree for the president to be interviewed as part of Mueller's Russian Federation investigation.

On Friday, Giuliani told the New York Times that Mueller would only get his interview with the president if he could satisfy the White House that he had evidence that Trump had committed a crime.

Trump fixer Michael Cohen is not necessarily the president's friend anymore, according to CNN chief political analyst Gloria Borger.

While he wouldn't tell Stephanopoulos if he would cooperate with prosecutors, he also didn't dampen such speculation, taking issue with some of Trump's criticisms of the special counsel's Russian Federation investigation and even going out of his way to praise the FBI. "Long as he does that, we have nothing to fear", Giuliani said. "And, if he does that, we're home-free". Trump has repeatedly said he is keen to sit down with Mueller.

He also continued his claims that Trump didn't collude with Russians to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

On ABC's "This Week" on Sunday, Giuliani stressed that he wasn't anxious about testimony that Cohen might give.

Nawaz Sharif, Ousted Pakistani Leader, Sentenced To 10 Years For Corruption
It is alleged that the properties were allegedly bought with graft money in 1990s when he served twice as the prime minister. At least on Friday, it appeared unlikely that either Nawaz Sharif or his daughter would appear in Pakistan to go to jail.

Trump interviews Indian-American Amul Thapar for SC judge nominee
Asked about the call , White House spokesman Raj Shah said only, "Yesterday, the President spoke on the phone with Sen". President Barack Obama appointed hundreds of judges to the lower courts once the Senate adopted the Reid rule.

The New York Times earlier reported that Kasowitz had written two letters to Mueller in June 2017, and published one in which he categorically rejected the idea that Comey's firing could constitute obstruction of justice.

"I have advised the president, which he understands: no discussion of pardons", Giuliani said.

The attorney and former mayor of NY, who is a long-standing friend of Trump's, walked back that suggestion a little on Sunday.

Mr. Giuliani cited an inspector general report that found a former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent on Mr. Mueller's team, Peter Strzok, had sent text messages critical of Mr. Trump.

Giuliani said in a separate interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" that they had "pretty much decided" where they were with regard to an interview. Seriously? Is that Trump and Giuliani definition of "truth"? Giuliani told ABC that investigators must first show a "factual basis for the investigation".

In his interview last week, Cohen said Trump "simply accepting the denial of" Russian President Vladimir Putin that he didn't meddle in the 2016 USA presidential election was "unsustainable".
