According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Paul and the Rockets agreed to a four-year, max contract that will averages $40 million per season.

American star point guard Chris Paul has signed a long term agreement with "Houston". Paul, James Harden and Co. should be one of the league's two to three best teams in 2018-19.

The deal is valued at $160 million over 4 years, giving the team a sizeable window to break down the Golden State Warriors, winners of 3 out of 4 'ships.

Looking forward, Paul will continue to provide tenacious on-ball defense and playmaking starting at point guard for the Rockets.
