God of War Has Gotten a New Mode

God of War 1.20 update patch is out with a few bug fixes that will make playing the game a little less frustrating, the introduction of photo mode, and a global increase to text size across the board. There are filters to change the look of your environment, to capture the grimness of the world-or the beauty-and to save epic moments from your battles in the nine realms.

Photo mode can be activated either through the options menu or - with a toggle - by using the touchpad on your controller. So snap away at the handsome scenery and those who already completed the game, listen to our upcoming podcast on God of War with our thoughts and spoilers of course of one of the most epic games this generation.

You can also adjust the field of view, focus distance, focal field, depth of field and more.

God of War is available exclusively for PlayStation 4 from the end of April.

A new update for the God of War brings a Photo Mode that allows players to take snapshots of Kratos, Atreus and the handsome world created by Santa Monica Studios.

Have fun with the new Photo Mode.

Filters: Adjust the Film Grain, Exposure, Filter, and Filter Intensity options. That way, you don't have annoying black bars surrounding the outside frame of these photo mode screenshots (similar to what can be seen in our Yakuza 6 review).

Borders: Add a Vignette and adjust Vignette Intensity, and Vignette Falloff. Navigating the scene is as easy as moving around the left and right joysticks. The 1.18 and 1.19 updates didn't have much info about them either, only citing unspecific bugfixes. And my personal favorite, we've added the ability to change Kratos and Atreus's facial expressions.

Sony also released God of War Stickers for today for iOS devices.
