Some minor features include high-priority notifications, which will only notify the user of new emails if they are deemed to be really important, and unsubscribe suggestions, where Google will suggest you unsubscribe from a newsletter if it seems that you're no longer reading these emails.

The new Gmail is available today for all personal Gmail users and G Suite early adopter program (EAP) customers, but all are meant to boost team productivity, according to David Thacker, VP Product Management for G Suite.

Design-wise, Google Tasks lines up perfectly with what we've been hearing about "Material Design 2" and Android P. Namely, the bottom bar with its wide, oval-shaped FAB to "Add a new task" and the new hamburger icon in the bottom left-corner that opens a menu to access different lists and change Google Accounts. Businesses can opt-in for the new Gmail, too, by joining the Google G Suite Early Access Program (EAP).

Users of Google Docs have had access to a pretty decent offline mode for some time now via the installation of a browser extension, and it appears similar functionality is coming to Gmail (albeit seemingly without the need for a separate browser extension).

A new Confidential Mode is perhaps the biggest security/privacy investment out of this batch of announcements.

How do you get the G Suite updates? A feature called Nudging does just that - it reminds users to respond to messages they missed or ignored. Gmail also recently introduced controls to let the sender remove the option of forwarding, copying, downloading or printing messages. Gmail is also getting a new built-in offline mode since it's now a fully fledged progressive web app. Another good addition to the web version is the capability of tapping directly into the email attachments from the inbox without opening the conversation.

Jeff Teague chipped in 23 points plus eight assists, Andrew Wiggins added 20 points while Derrick Rose had 17 off the bench. He didn't require, or accept, any medical attention and returned from the intermission without any hint that he was hurt.

It does this using the same technology as Smart Reply, which was introduced previous year and suggests automatic responses to emails to save you typing them out.

Have something sensitive you want to send in an email but are anxious about it surfacing in a hack 10 years from now?

The changes to Gmail also fulfill another top demand of business executives - message expiration.

One of the biggest changes to Gmail is a new Confidential mode, which is created to make Gmail more secure and prevent loss of sensitive information through hijacking of accounts. The overhaul also better integrates various G Suite apps.

It's worth pointing out that many standard Gmail features aren't going anywhere. (The company says it takes time to learn which people matter most - and, for the record, I always reply to emails from mom.) Among a test pool of business users, Google said this feature prevented 8 percent of people from dropping the ball on an email each week.

Gmail brings improved features is Redesigned security notifications. Users will be able to "snooze" some emails so that they get reminders to read them later.
