Willie Snead Signs With Baltimore Ravens

Snead, 25, is coming off a disappointing year with New Orleans in 2017.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Snead will join the Baltimore Ravens after the Saints declined to match their offer for the young wide receiver. Snead will be a Raven. The Saints had five days to match the tender before ultimately declining to do so.

The deal includes a $2 million signing bonus, and after a year of injury and inconsistency for the Saints, they chose to let the former Ball State Cardinal walk.

The Saints had shown some interest in retaining Snead, who was a restricted free agent.
