Authorities in Northern California have previously said they believe all six children from the family were in a vehicle that plunged off a cliff.

The Harts moved last spring to Woodland, Washington, telling their real-estate broker "they needed a fresh start" after experiencing prejudice in Minnesota and too much media attention in OR after one child was pictured in a viral photo taken at a 2014 police-brutality protest. Authorities have not identified the woman.

A woman who called OR child welfare officials in 2013 about a woman who last month drove off a California cliff with her family says the household was run "like a regimented boot camp". Search teams have been looking for the missing family since then. The crash happened just days after authorities in Washington state opened an investigation following allegations the children were being neglected.

Ukiah CHP Area Commander Bruce Carpenter also said that Sarah Hart's remains tested positive for "a significant amount" of diphenhydramine, an active ingredient found in the allergy medication Benadryl. California drivers are considered drunk with a level of 0.08 or higher. Toxicology results on a third child whose body was recovered from the crash area are still pending.

Juveniles arrested after vehicle chase in South Napa
Police responded to a call that there were shooters in a gold Honda Accord firing at a blue Dodge Challenger, police said. Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney George Sitler said the killing was classified as a "decapitation homicide".

Authorities have said that data from the vehicle's software suggests the crash was deliberate, though the California Highway Patrol has not concluded why the vehicle went off an ocean overlook on a rugged part of coastline.

"We believe that the Hart incident was in fact intentional", he said. He also said that before the crash, the family had stopped in Naselle, Wash., about a 90-minute drive northwest of Woodland, Wash., where they lived.

On March 26, investigators recovered the bodies of the parents inside the auto and three children - Markis, 19; Jeremiah, 14; and Abigail, 14 - outside the vehicle.

Five bodies were found March 26 but three children remain missing. Their three other adopted children are missing, 16-year-old Hannah Hart, 12-year-old Sierra Hart and 15-year-old Devonte Hart, who is known for a viral photo in which he is hugging a police officer in November 2014.
