A man whom Lents residents reported was firing a semiautomatic rifle into a house Monday night turned out to be carrying a realistic-looking air rifle, police said.

Several people are in jail this morning faces a wide range of charges after Colorado Springs police officers pulled over a vehicle on North Chestnut Street north of Fillmore. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but they continued on at a high rate of speed, eluding officers.
