11 sponsors drop Laura Ingraham's show

Conservative Fox News host Laura Ingraham announced Friday evening that she'd be taking a week off, a move that raised some eyebrows given its timing: Over the past two days, her show had lost almost a dozen advertisers after she criticized Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg on Twitter.

Laura Ingraham, the Fox News host of The Ingraham Angle, announced late Friday that she is going on vacation for a week as advertisers continue to abandon her show.

Hogg responded to Ingraham's original comments by tweeting a list of her advertisers and urging his followers to contact them.

As of Friday night, 14 companies - including the Rachael Ray-partnered dog food brand Nutrish, the travel site TripAdvisor, Office Depot and the streaming service Hulu - have said they will no longer advertise on Ingraham's show, according to a tally on Mediaite. I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I️ in this fight.

Hogg, one of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students, organised the March For Our Lives.

The move has drawn criticism with some Democrats calling it "legislative gymnastics" as well as 'crooked as a bag of snakes'. That would give the Legislature time to pass the bill as planned on April 4. "The Legislature has indicated they are done".

Staying unsettled and damp, with on and off light showers, Wednesday
EASTER SUNDAY: We're going to keep forecast highs in the 70s but a cold front may sag into the region during the day. Happy Wednesday Kentucky! Rain showers are moving across the area this morning along with mild temperatures.

"She's tried calling out people at Dartmouth University for their sexual orientation and she told Lebron James to shut up and dribble", Hogg said on CNN.

After Hogg targeted Ingraham's advertisers, they've gradually been dropping like flies from the Fox News show.

"As always, he's welcome to return to the show anytime for a productive discussion", Ingraham said. It's time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling at children.

But her apology did not stop companies from departing.

He said the apology was "expected" after advertisers dropped out, but that it didn't mean much. Hannity fans then launched a boycott of Keurig posting videos of themselves destroying their coffee makers on social media. A Fox News representative was not immediately available for comment. "However, the decision of an adult to personally criticise a high school student who has lost his classmates in an unspeakable tragedy is not consistent with our values", said a spokesman for Wayfair, a home furnishings company. I think now with advertisers standing with us, we can accomplish anything.
