Q2 Weather: Rain and snow showers keep popping up

Meteorologists say the remainder of the week wil also continue to feature some unsettled conditions, with chances of rain in the forecast Thursday, Friday and into the beginning of Easter weekend. The afternoon is forecast to be in the lower 80s with a mostly cloudy sky.

Not a bad idea to have an umbrella today as some scattered showers, perhaps a few storms, look possible.

Thursday: A slight chance of snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of rain showers.

"We expect heavy snow showers to start developing in places from midweek; many northern and western areas will be at most risk from Wednesday".

It's been a jackets and umbrellas kind of day with chilly temperatures and a steady rainfall.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for rain and a high near 54 degrees. There is a 20% chance for a few spotty showers tomorrow with a high of 64 degrees. Temperatures are expected to favor the 30s overnight before rising into the low 50s on Wednesday.

It still looks like the rain will move out and more comfortable temperatures with drier air will move in just in time for outdoor events on Good Friday and the Easter Weekend.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. High temperatures will be slightly cooler behind Tuesday night's front.

The temperature will be warmer than what we've seen, but there's a chance of rain. Lows into early Thursday morning drop to the upper 20s, so there may be some slick roads for the morning commute. Probably best to have the Easter egg hunts indoors this year.
