At Disneyland Resort, the new themed land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure park, which has become the highest-rated attraction at Disneyland Resort since its 2017 opening.

Disney Parks has shared a sneak peek (which you can check out below) at their highly-anticipated new areas coming to the Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland, inviting guests to become a part of a bigger universe filled with epic adventures.

Because of a licensing agreement with Universal for its Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, that predates its purchase of Marvel, Disney doesn't have the rights to the Marvel Comics superheroes east of the Mississippi. These lands are being created in a partnership between Disney, Marvel Themed Entertainment, and Marvel Studios even though they are all under the same company banner.

The attraction will take the space now occupied by the kiddie attraction "A Bug's Land", according to Variety. "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19 to make way for this new heroic experience; the rest of the land will close in late summer.

Disney Parks announced that new Avengers-themed attractions will be coming to three different Disneyland parks around the world: Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Resort in California, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Disneyland Paris will reportedly see a new Marvel-themed area, including an attraction where riders can team up with Iron Man and other Avengers.

Hong Kong Disneyland has already started the work on a major expansion that will go along with the Iron Man Experience, which opened in 2017.

About the only park not getting the Marvel makeover is Walt Disney World in Orlando, where a seemingly iron clad deal made with Universal before Disney's acquisition of Marvel locks most of those characters down.
