You can now converse with your Android phone in Hindi after tech giant Google said on Thursday that its voice-based Google Assistant will support the language.

Google Assistant can now be used in Hindi.

To recall, Google Assistant is already available in Hindi on Google Allo instant messaging platform and Reliance Jio feature phones.

As of now, the feature is available on Android devices running Android 6.0 and above but will be coming soon to Android 5.0, Android Oreo (Go Edition) and iOS 9.1 and above. Over the time, more functions will be added to the Hindi-speaking Assistant. Just recently, Google India announced that the utility is now proficient in Hindi.
