Following the launch Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro last month, Xiaomi is now set to bring another new budget smartphone to India on March 14. The Mi TV 4A 43 inch TV is priced at Rs 22,999 and the 32-inch TV will be priced at Rs 13,999. At the time of its launch, the company stated that the Redmi 5A base variant will be available at Rs. 1,000 discount until the company sells 5 million units. The smartphone might also come in a 4GB RAM variant just like we saw on the Xiaomi Redmi 4. But, you never know, Xiaomi might launch more than just one TV as they are claiming to launch a new series. The official presentation will take place no earlier than March 14. Now the company has sold the first 5 million units, so it is now available at its original price.

Amazon India is also teasing the smartphone with the number 5, which further suggests that this could be the Redmi 5. The device came in two variants - one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage priced at Rs. 5,999 and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage priced at Rs. 6,999. The resolution of the display is 720×1440 pixels. The price of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is CNY 899 which is equal to Rs.8800 and the price of 4GB RAM variant with 32GB storage variant is CNY 1099 which is equal to Rs.11,000. The Redmi 5 comes with a full screen display having an aspect ratio of 18:9. A microSD has been thrown in to expand the internal storage.
