Lobster and microbe characters are among the more interesting animal emoji in Unicode 11, while useful food items include leafy greens, bagel and salt. Unicode is a nonprofit organization that promotes consistency in computer coding.

Angus King says a long-overdue lobster emoji is coming to smartphones, and it is cause for celebration.

On Wednesday, the Unicode Consortium revealed the finalized list of 157 emoji that will arrive as a part of the Unicode 11 standard. Other emojis that will soon be available include people with red hair, people with curly hair, a raccoon emoji and a mango emoji, to name a few. In the video, girls were asked what emojis they'd like to see representing women, to which they suggested female wrestlers, soccer players and drummers, among others.
