John Wall Will Miss at Least 6 Weeks

Detroit center Andre Drummond will replace Wall on LeBron James' team for the All-Star Game next month. Parker also performed two knee surgeries on Wall in May 2016, according to ESPN.

Wall, who is slated to play for Team LeBron on February 18 in Los Angeles in what would be his fifth straight All-Star Game, is averaging 19.4 points and 9.3 assists this season, both numbers a little better than his career averages.

That's according to a report from the Washington Post's Candace Buckner. He will reportedly miss significant time.

The contrasting dynamic between Bradley Beal and John Wall is very interesting. That's a disappointing considering the team was expected to take a step forward this season after winning 49 games and a playoff series a year ago.

Donovan had this to say about Beal, who played for him in college at Florida: "I always say this about Brad: He's got the "it" factor".

Paul George had 28 points for Oklahoma City, but zero in the fourth quarter.

On the other end, the Wizards looked to All-Star Bradley Beal (21 points, nine assists), power forward Markieff Morris (18 points) and swingman Otto Porter Jr.

It was a tight affair throughout, with OKC taking a one point lead into the halftime break. Anthony scored 19, but he missed three shots in the final 30 seconds.

Then, with 39.4 seconds remaining, Satoransky broke a 96-all tie with a pair of free throws after he was fouled by Josh Huestis, who had turned the ball over. If the Wizards go.500 during that stretch, they'd be 37-32 and most likely stay in the playoffs. Still, Wall's latest surgery has to infuse some reasonable doubt in that vision, one that once had Wizards fans dreaming of DeMarcus Cousins teaming with his former Kentucky teammate this summer. At the remarkably young age of 24, Beal is beginning to command the respect of a number one option in the National Basketball Association.
