LG G6 And Q6 Set To Get New Paintjobs

The two newest announcements, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet, will be first made available in South Korea, and it's uncertain whether they will actually be released in the US.

LG G6 was launched in 2017 as the flagship phone of that year.

LG are no different, and considering the G6 and Q6 are already available in five colors (only three of which are available in the U.S., unfortunately!) it just goes to show how enthusiastic smartphone manufacturers can be. These are all colors that were previously limited to just the V30, and yes, that's the same Raspberry Rose that stole our hearts at CES in early January. This means that now the LG G6 will be available in eight colour variants.

The new colors for the G6 and Q6 will be released in Korea first in February, followed by key markets worldwide.

It's unlikely LG will announce a successor to its G6 device at the Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona, but make sure you check back here for all the news as it hits.

The LG Q6, on the other hand, will get only the Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet variants. The secondary camera has a 125-degree wide angle lens too.

To recap, the LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.

The mid-range LG Q6 released in July 2017. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
