Environment Canada issued a weather warning for all of Southwestern Ontario Wednesday morning, predicting freezing rain in the region.

Toronto is in for some snow, and then another blast of cold weather this weekend.

The national weather agency says rain and patches of dense fog will continue to affect Peel today.

"A very strong cold front will cross the region from northwest to southeast on Friday bringing an abrupt end to the mild spell". Temperatures are expected to rise above the freezing mark late this afternoon or evening across the district with the passage of the warm front.
