A wind chill advisory is in effect for western Dutchess County and a wind chill warning is in effect for eastern Dutchess until 7 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday will bring snow and sleet before 2 p.m., then sleet between 2 and 3 p.m. and then rain after 3 p.m.

The National Weather Service warns of "gale force wind gusts and heavy freezing spray" until Sunday morning.

Wind chill values will make actual temperatures slightly above zero degrees feel 20-30 degrees colder than they are.

Frigid temperatures in north Georgia aren't showing any signs of letting up as forecasters are predicting freezing rain in Dawson County beginning Sunday night into Monday.

As temperatures continue to warm overnight, the wintry mix may transition to more freezing rain, especially if ground temperatures are still at or below freezing.
