Winter Weather Advisory issued for Northern Panhandle

There is possibility of 1-3 inches of snow in the Stafford-LBI area.

Road conditions could be slippery and visibility could also be reduced at times.

Portions of southwest Pennsylvania, east central OH, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia will be impacted. Arctic air stays in place all next week, with subzero wind chills every morning.

A wide band of accumulating snow is forecast to spread into the Chicago area from the west - reaching westernmost portions of the area late morning, eventually covering the remainder of the area into northwest IN by mid-afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Ford and Iroquois counties from 12 p.m. Friday until 12 a.m. Saturday. Total ice accumulation expected is only a light glaze.

The weather impact will be for the northern and southern Clearwater mountains, and the Bitteroot/Sapphire mountains.
