Get ready to see Snapchat Stories everywhere you go. Chopra will be responsible for leading the new "Stories Everywhere" initiative. Snapchat is looking to do just that with a new feature called Stories Everywhere, which will allow Stories to be embedded in places around the web. The idea is similar to how Twitter and YouTube allow you to embed tweets/videos on other sites, and it'd enable Snapchat's content to be shared on a much broader scale than ever before. Currently, you can only view stories on the app. According to the company, "Each Snapchatter's own 2017 Story will include snaps that are automatically categorized and strung together to tell a fun, year-end narrative that's personal to you".

Snap hired Rahul Chopra, former NewsCorp executive and he is now the CEO of Storyful. It could be as easy as sharing a Snapchat story via a web player, after which the user is prompted to sign up and download the app.

Additionally, be sure to have the most updated version of the Snapchat app if you can't seem to find your 2017 memories.

Additionally, in 2018 Snap is reportedly planning to increase the overall output of content in the Discover feed, widen content distribution, and double-down on news.

Snap Inc CEO and founder Evan Spiegel had recently expressed regret at not having focussed on Android-based smartphones. According to the company it had 178 million daily users at the end of the third quarter, but the growth rate has been slowing, meanwhile rival Instagram says it has surged to more than 800 million monthly users. This, of course, is bad news for Snapchat itself, as it has been significantly lagging behind Instagram in terms of user numbers for some time now.

Snap changes included separate streams for posts or messages from close friends versus digital content from publishers.
