House of Cards Resuming Production in Early 2018 Without Spacey

The upcoming sixth season of House of Cards will be the final season for the series and will feature less episodes - eight episodes instead of the usual 13 episodes. It has not yet clarified how character's exit from series will occur, although end of last season already left Claire Underwood, character played by Robin Wright, stepping forward in front of her husband.

Allegations of "on-set sexual misconduct" by members of the House Of Cards production crew have also been levelled against Spacey. However, with the production bump, it looks like viewers can expect the show to resume in late 2018 at the earliest.

Spacey was removed from the show and production in October, when allegations emerged that he made a sexual advance on actor Anthony Rapp in 1986, when Rapp was 14. Now the show will continue with Robin Wright in the lead and give everyone involved a satisfying ending.
