Janoris Jenkins Reinstated by Giants After Suspension for Rules Violation

New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins has been reinstated after serving a one-week suspension for a violation of team rules.

Jenkins didn't report to the team's practice October 30 and was suspended indefinitely the next day.

McAdoo can't totally be faulted for his team's struggles, as the Giants have endured an inordinate amount of injuries to key players this season.

The Pro Bowl cornerback was sorely missed in Sunday's 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, as quarterback Jared Goff threw a career-high four touchdowns against a poor Giants secondary.

Three players who were on the field Sunday were removed from the roster. They also placed linebacker Nigel Harris (ribs) on season-ending injured reserve (IR).

Jenkins started six of the Giants' first seven games, missing the September 24 Monday night game vs. Detroit with an ankle injury.

He has 24 tackles, six passes defended, an interception and forced fumble this season. He was waived on September 2, re-signed on September 28, and was inactive for the Giants' game in Tampa Bay on October 1. He most recently had a stint on the Raiders' practice squad.
