In Sheridan, Michigan, three children were killed in the collision of a pickup truck and a horse-drawn carriage. The other six were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

WZZM 13 reports that the truck collided with the buggy, damaging both extensively.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, but police told the news station they were two girls, ages 7 and 9, and a 12-year-old boy.

Paul's condition is listed as stable.

Judith's condition is listed as critical at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Three children were killed and another six were in the hospital.

Officials said drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident, which remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
