A few weeks after Airtel chose to launch a cheap 4G smartphone to take on the JioPhone, Vodafone has entered the fray with its own 4G handset. After another 18 months or 1.5 years, there will be a second cashback of Rs. 1,000.

Coming to the features of Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra, the budget smartphone is paired with a 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.

Under this partnership, the existing and new Vodafone customers will have to buy Micromax Bharat-2 Ultra smartphone priced at Rs 2,899 a unit and will have to recharge with least Rs 150 per month for 36 months.

For the Karbonn smartphone, buyers will have to pay Rs2,899 and spend Rs169 every month on 4G recharges for 36 months, after which they will get a refund of Rs1,500.
