They are also introducing the new Home Mini and Home Max smart speaker systems.

Alongside the $49 Google Home Mini, Google unveiled the Google Home Max, a supersized version of the Google Home with two 4.5-inch woofers and 0.7-inch tweeters for room-filling sound.

Both the devices are part of the Google Home product portfolio thus featuring Google Assistant support and will have all the features and functionalities that was featured in the earlier Google Home speaker.

Obviously, the Home Max does everything the standard Google Home does, but it also has some audio-specific features we weren't able to test out yet.

It's available in three colors too, black, grey and coral. For example, you will be able to ask your Google Home "who's at the front door" and it will connect with a previously paired Nest camera located at the said front door, displaying a live stream of it on a connected TV.

Sri Lanka conquers Pakistan fortress
Veteran left-arm spinner Rangana Herath was the most successful bowler for Sri Lanka after dismissing three Pakistani batsmen. Pakistan had their chances to win the Test after a spirited 3-run lead and 5-for from Yasir in the second innings.

Google and Nest have partnered on Google Home for Smart home. Destined to be endlessly messed with by your cat, the Home Mini will be the cheapest way for buyers to enter the Google Home ecosystem. It, like its bigger sibling, comes with touch controls. It is a beast of a device for music lovers!

The Home will also receive integration for Android's Find My Phone feature, which allows you to locate any Android device of your own using a browser or an app. The Home Mini is, of course, powered by Google's Assistant rather than Amazon's Alexa, though. It'll mostly be used for turning volume up or down, but you can also tap to pause. When you combine that concept with the ability to control your TV and various devices (lights, thermostat, etc.) through voice, it's easy to see how Google Home Mini could effectively make your home far more connected. The Mini appears to be ready to do battle with Amazon's Echo Dot, while the Max looks to do battle with Apple's premium HomePod smart speaker. You'll have to wait for our full review for the final verdict on that though.

Google Home is taking rounds on the internet from past few months.

Its relatively low cost means it'll appeal to a wider audience and it's tempting to pick up more than one to really kick your smart home into gear.
