Curse of Osiris will open up the planet Mercury for the first time as part of the game's story content. The focus of this DLC would be to introduce multiple missions set in the new region of Mercury, instead of expanding the areas included in the base game.

In addition to the story quests, the DLC also includes new cooperative missions and maps for the player-versus-player Crucible mode.

The expansion was listed on the Microsoft Store, and Bungie's marketing director Eric Osborne confirmed its existence on Twitter. We'll keep our eyes peeled for additional details on Curse of Osiris, so stay tuned for more.

A representative for Activision told Polygon that information about Curse of Osiris will be posted to Destiny's official website later today.
